CPIM Leader Sushanta Ghosh of West Bengal has been arrested and produced to District Court in the first week of August 2011. As per the report of Police and Forensic Report of Human Skeleton, that was found near to Sushanta Ghosh's house of Berachapa, Sushanta Ghosh was named as the main culprit behind the murder case of TMC leaders way back in 2005-2006.
District Court has dismiss the Bail request of Sushanta Ghosh and ordered to keep him under CID for next 7-days. Thus, Sushanta Ghosh was taken to Kolkata Bhawani Bhavan for further inquiries regarding the murder case in which his name was taken.
